Description

Transform an assortment of sparkling, interesting beads into one long, wrapped bracelet, or a delicate necklace in this class. Students will leave class with a finished piece of jewelry, and the skills to continue creating personalized jewelry using beading cable. Taught by Sondra Barrington.

The class covers jewelry basics, including instruction on how to use jewelry making tools, design considerations, techniques for assembly, working with beading cable and professional finishing methods.

Beads provided for the project may vary from the example image. Students are encouraged to bring beads that they have specially selected for this project, especially if they are partial to certain colors or stones.

When: Tuesday, May 16, 5 pm -9pm

Price: $40 + $30 Lab fee

 

Students must bring:

  • Task/ reading glasses

Students can also bring, but not required:

  • Beads
  • Basic jewelry-making tool set

*Pre-registration is required for Art School classes; classes will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Students will be registered ONLY on receipt of payment.  Enrollment requirements: 3 students minimum, 12 student maximum (in most cases). Classes with low enrollment are cancelled 48 hours before the class is scheduled to begin.

Refunds and Cancellation Policies: Cancellations must be received 48 hours prior to the first class to get a full refund. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, a full refund will be issued.
