Art, Animals and Gardens    

For students ages 7 – 14

$150+ $15 Lab Fee for each weeklong session

Monday-Friday, July 30-August 3, 9am-12pm

Cassy Brown will be returning to Spokane for a month this summer to offer Art, Animals, and Gardens classes through Spokane Art School and River’s Wish Sanctuary. For ages 7-14, these classes give students the opportunity to spend time among sanctuary animals like goats, pigs, horses, and rabbits, while learning new art skills and exploring various mediums. Students also spend time in the garden at River’s Wish learning about plants and topics related to growing food. Projects include an acrylic painting on canvas, nature art, pen and ink drawing, observational drawings, and more. Each student will receive their own sketchbook, and most class time is spent outside.

Closed toe shoes are required for all classes at River’s Wish Animal Sanctuary

*Pre-registration is required for Art School classes; classes will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Students will be registered ONLY on receipt of payment.  Enrollment requirements: 3 students minimum, 12 students maximum (in most cases). Classes with low enrollment are cancelled 48 hours before the class is scheduled to begin.

Refunds and Cancellation Policies: If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, a full refund will be issued. Otherwise, no refunds will be issued.
