Digital cameras have brought back the fun of photography for many of us. Switch your digital camera off “AUTO” and learn to capture the pictures in your mind’s eye. Unleash your creativity while learning to master the fantastic new world of digital photography. This class will help you to better understand which functions, buttons and settings on your camera to use to create better photographs! You’ll explore White balance, exposure compensation, daylight flash, focus and exposure controls plus camera accessories.

Roger concentrates on the total photo experience- what he calls the “Zen of Photography”. How to capture the beauty, emotion or humor that makes up your everyday life. The photo process includes knowledge of your camera, finding interesting subjects and lighting. Learn how to train your mind to find and frame the perfect photo.

Please show up with your camera ready to go: battery charged memory card in and camera manual in tow. And most of all, prepare to have fun.

Classes – What Goes and What Doesn’t: Please register early- don’t procrastinate! Pre-registration is required for Art School classes; classes will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Students will be registered ONLY on receipt of payment. Enrollment is limited in most classes to twelve students-some have a smaller limit due to space or equipment limitations – so register early to be assured of a space. We also need to know that we have enough students in a class to meet minimum enrollment (usually 3 students in classes and workshops.) If you put off registering for a class or workshop, it may be cancelled due to low enrollment. Classes with low enrollment are cancelled 48 hours before the class is scheduled to begin.

Refunds and Cancellation Policies: We must maintain a minimum enrollment in order to sustain a class or workshop. This minimum is usually 3 students. If we do not have minimum registration, we must cancel the class, whereupon a full refund will be issued.
