Using primarily watercolors as the instrument of demonstration, I aim to help students learn to mix whatever color they wish using limited color palettes. On top of that, we will discuss different common color schemes using the color wheel as an aid and show how the color wheel can be used practically when planning paintings for maximum cohesiveness. And since it’s watercolors, I’ll also explain why some paints in the same color family produce different results and how to hypothetically predict what a different color will do.
