Washington State law (ESSB 5814) now requires that certain services be taxed when sold. Art classes fall under this new law and we are required to charge sales tax on all in-person and online classes.
- Preregistration is required for all classes. Instructors can not take payments.
- Online registration closes 48 hours before the class begins. After that deadline, we might be able to add you to a class if you call the school during business hours.
- Classes with fewer than three registrations will be cancelled and the registration fee will be refunded.
- Refunds will only be issued in the event of a class cancelation by the Spokane Art School.
- Refunds or class credit will not be issued for missed classes.
- These classes specify an age range that includes young artists under the age of 18. Some classes may also be open to adults. See each class description for the recommended ages. Our instructors set the age ranges for their classes based on the topics covered, materials used and pace at which the class is taught.
