Attendees will have the opportunity to watch artists in action as they capture the arboretum’s landscape in a wide variety of mediums, participate in art workshops for kids and adults, and enjoy tasty food and drinks from local vendors.
After the event, artworks will be showcased in a gallery at the Spokane Art School and auctioned off online, with proceeds supporting artists, the Spokane Art School, and the future of the event.
This event is more than just a celebration of art — it’s an opportunity to connect with your community, appreciate the beauty of nature, and support local creativity. Bring your family, your friends, and your curiosity for a memorable day of art, nature, and inspiration!
50+ professional artists will set up throughout the arboretum, immortalizing the scenery around them.
Rosie CQ and Moss & Stone will serenade the arboretum all event long.
Greenplay Northwest will lead nature-themed art activities for kids of all ages all day. In the past these activities have included painted rocks, floral bookmarks, flags, and more.
Spokane Art School’s instructors will lead art demonstrations throughout the day. More details coming soon.
Over a dozen local non-profits will be scattered along the route, hosting craft workshops and educating attendees about their work in the community.

All of the artwork created at the event will be displayed at the Spokane Art School from May 25th-29th, from 10am-5pm. The public is also invited to join us for an opening reception on May 23rd from 4-8pm.
The artwork will be auctioned off online after the event. Proceeds are shared between the artists and the Spokane Art School’s mission to support the local art community and provide accessible, high-quality arts education for all. The auction will close on May 29th, 2026 at 9pm.
