I am a mother, wife, WA State Social Worker with DSHS/DDA and a very passionate artist. My medium of choice is designing fine artisan handmade bar soap. I have taught and made soap for close to 20 years. It has turned into a life long passion because of the infinite possibilities of design and the nature of the obsessive handcrafted creative process. I find this medium crucial for me to explore as I navigate the ups and down of being a state social worker and mother of 3 young children. Over the years I have taught and shown my work all over the northwest. I live in rural Elk, WA, just 45 minutes north of Spokane. I find myself participating in may rural and urban opportunities to share my work and teach the craft.
