YOU ARE INVITED TO APPLY
The Spokane Art School Gallery is calling for 2-D and 3-D artwork to be displayed in a TEN by TEN art exhibition March 6-30, 2026 in Spokane, WA. TEN by TEN is an exhibition featuring artwork with the dimensions of 10” by 10”. There is no specific theme for this show. Artists are encouraged to submit their best pieces in any category, medium, or genre, with the only constraints being the size 10” by 10” and the ability to hang from a wire. The TEN by TEN Opening Reception will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026, 5-8 p.m.

There is a $10 application fee, that is non-refundable. You may submit up to two pieces.
CONDITIONS & RULES
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: Failure to meet ANY of conditions 1 through 10 may result in disqualification of your entry. Entries that do not fully meet the criteria will be disqualified.
- AGE – Artist must be 18 years or older.
- ORIGINALITY – Entries must be original works of art created only by you. Artwork produced in a class or workshop is not eligible.
- ARTWORK SIZE – All pieces must have an OUTER dimension of 10” x 10” in height and width. The depth is up to the artist. If the piece’s outer dimensions are not 10”x 10” and it does not hang on a wire, the gallery will deny the work upon delivery, without refund. Artwork smaller than 10” x 10” or larger than 10” x 10” will not be accepted.
- FRAMING – If framed, the OUTER dimensions of the frame must be 10” x 10”.
- HANGING – All artwork must be ready for installation including a wire for hanging. Hanging systems other than wire will result in your artwork not being accepted for the show. The hanging wire must be tight and located EXACTLY 2.5” from the top edge of the artwork. 3D art will also be hung on the wall and must comply with the 10” x 10” dimensions.
- AMOUNT OF ARTWORK -You may create 1-2 pieces for the exhibition.
- SUBJECT MATTER –Nude and political representations are not allowed.
- SUBSTRATES –Entries may be any 2D or 3D medium as long as each is 10” x 10” and can hang on a wire. We will not be responsible for assembling artwork in the gallery, and no part should be toxic, allergenic, or spillable (e.g., fragrance, smoke, or open fluids).
- SALES –Artists will receive 60% of the sales prices.
- PRICING – All artwork must be priced at a minimum of $75.00.

Monday, February 2, 2026 – Acceptance Email Sent
Friday, February 20, 2026 – Delivery of Artwork – If you receive confirmation, all physical pieces of artwork must be received at the gallery between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. We will only take delivery of SHIPPED artwork from February 20 to February 27.
Friday, March 6 through Monday, March 30 -Gallery Showing Dates. Opening Reception 5-8 p.m. on Friday, March 6.
